"Objectivist" is just a label. The ironic part is who is and who isn't is a subjective perception.

And I'm sure most people into audio who consider themselves "objectivists" do *not* misrepresent science. (If you take the term literally, misrepresentation is never objective.) The problem is the ones who do verbally drown out the ones who don't.

And those who misrepresent science are not limited to the audio profession. Audio is just a tiny blip in the big picture of science.
