You have provided excellent guidance on problems to avoid when conducting blind testing. You have not shown blind testing to be valueless.The key is careful test design. No A/B switches where they could differentially effect sound. Your idea that the test results only apply to the people, equipment, day, etc., involved is correct--for that sample. Testing must involve a statistically meaningful sample, which in this case (say, power amps) would mean different rooms, days, people, associated systems).
You simply can't prove that blind testing is bad because you can devise a bad way of doing it.
