Benny Golsonand others. Then again perhaps they wouldn't give a hoot thinking perhaps that when it comes to music JA's machines couldn't teach them much ... who knows?
Well now, I don't know about the others, but it may be worth noting that it wasn't too many years ago that ol' Herbie, in a 30 minute Bose infomercial, was telling people that a recording of his playing piano played back on a Bose Acoustic Wave system sounded indistinguishable from him playing his piano live.
And it's also worth noting that John didn't preclude it from a recommendation based purely on measurements.
