I've listened and been an audiophile for probably 48 of my 52 years. I also am a designer of audio circuits. I believe that the equipment of today does not sound better than the sound equipment of the mid fifties. The IC chip op amp topology is the single worst thing to ever happen to audio. Efficient full range speakers with large magnets that can be drive to 105db @ 1 watt input like the Western Electric 755 sound better to me than so called "modern" cheaply constructed shit in-efficient speakers that require 100 watts to make the damn cone move. There is only one loudspeaker currently offered that can compete with the 755. The Lowther. I think you need an audio education. Cordially, Jim
