With each new generation of engineers out of EE school, the new generation has solutions to old issues that are most always a hundred fold more complicated than the previous. In most cases, these new solutions solve many but not all the problems and some of them make NEW PROBLEMS. The operational amp topology, I believe, should have never been applied to AUDIO. It was developed as a DC amplifier. The simple junp from thinking that a good DC amplifier makes a good AC amplifier is just an example of the trouble they cause. One doesn't make something sound better by complicating the signal path. Good luck! James
