Like I said, op-amps are everywhere especially in studios when
the musio is created.. If you think that op-amps contaminate music
then all the music you purchase has been tainted.

I can honestly say that the last several studios that I have worked at, all proudly offer discrete, class A signal chains. Not an opamp in the audio path. If you live anywhere near LA, come to the AES show in several weeks; you will be amazed at the number of vendors offering top performing gear with minimalist signal paths. And this is all "PRO" gear, no audiophile craziness like directional speaker cables (do they need to sell different cables in England and Japan, for electrons driving on the other side?)
And while a lot of the gear is based on 40 and 50 year old designs,(Universal Audio, Mercury, Chandler, ADL,etc.) there is just as much new gear utilizing modern technlogy to best present the same high quality, minimalist signal path - check out the new designs from companies like Manley, Pendulum, Crane Song, etc.
Discrete audio designs are generally acknowledged as the best sounding technology available to pro audio engineers and plenty of them will record using nothing else.
