If i am right an OTL have the tubes to deliver the sound quality and quantity (power watts).The T 16 is using the 16-6C19PI tubes.Can one add another triode tube(s) like 2a3 in there as well to bring the sound to another level of refinement ...Bruce took the 6c19pi because they are cheap as well . Why save on the most essential ingredient for your sound quality....the tubes...
Like the idea that now many tube amps are very much dominated by the quality of the O.T. Some have very nice rectifiers and tubes on them but the O.T. is so minor that all that quality is wasted...
