Yes, the two have the reputation as Babby showed the match in CES. The match gives what's called 'breathtaking' when playing vocal.
vzn-100 OTL is good for Merlin because merlin has quite high impedance (lowest 6.5 as claimed) and is also damped for tube already. But it seems no enough to me. What I can image is when impedance is high enough and efficiency high enough so the match should sound better, or best...
I tried searching the OTL posting but not easy to find one. Some helps from someone ?
