You might want to call Bobby at Merlin and ask him about upgrade possiblilities for your speakers. I upgraded my MXs, with the Super BAM, & it gave me exactly what you are saying you are looking for. The amps great, and will appreciate the upgrades on the Merlins. It's a bargain, too.
