If (again "if") the lower treble emphasis has anything to do with the Atma-Sphere amplifiers, it is because a stock amp comes with Sovtek 6SN7 in the gain stage. Simply changing those two tubes with common American made NOS 6SN7 tubes will do the trick.Paul Speltz
