No matter how you spin it, instead of choosing from all available music, you can choose only from what's available in a given format, in this case, vinyl. I have 4,000 CDs, about 50 of which may be available on vinyl (most for $40 and up), and maybe 800 or so LPs in storage, about 100 of which are available on CD. I got almost all of them because of the music they contain, not because of the format. If you can convert your collection without too many problems, you must buy all your music from audiophile reissue labels who release everything in multiple formats. I even have stuff like radio concerts on cassettes (yeech!) that can't be replaced. I'd no sooner sell those to listen to a superior format than I would my LPs.
