Re Lyrita: "Lining the shelves" would, in my case, be an example of hyperbole. The current market price for these discs would indeed imply the presence of precious metals. However, I have a confession to make: most of my Lyritas were obtained through the good offices of the Berkshire Record Outlet. (Shortly after the label ceased distribution in the US, about two dozen Lyrita titles showed up in the BRO catalog at BRO prices--which is to say, almost embarrassingly low. Needless to say, they didn't last long.)
