is that HE industry manufacturers have nothing better to do than amuse themselves by playing format war. It's become, it seems, a perpetual _de rigeur_ mode of doing business aimed not really at home, but rather their own private entertainment, the ultimate megatoys-for-megaboys experience. I wonder if any of those geniuses will ever stop to sit down and figure out how much the confusion, uncertainty, and disincentive-to-purchase they engender is actually costing 'em.--Jim
