Is the rack moving because it sits on the carpet, or do you have suspended wooden floors under the carpet? If so, a tall rack with a Turntable on top is not good. As suggested, A wall shelf may be the best idea. but this partly depends on what your walls are made of. If a wall shelf is not possible, then a lower shelf or a separate low table may be the next best option. I had a similar problem, and changed to a low table. While I cannot dance next to the turntable, I can walk around it normally, which I could not do with the tall rack.
