so you have to opposed stacks breaking up the "squawk" and monontones... well, usually a sort of comb filtered spread of tones that creates the worst phase perception annoyances... RPG primitive root math seem well suited to breaking up these locked in qualities that give the room a hard, overdefined sound, PARTICULARLY when they are opposed and facing each other... because by the second reflection, (off of the first primive root array, then across the back of the room to the other one) almost all fixed patterns above 3000 Hz have been randomized... for some reason, I've found that QR (or quadratic residue) gratings like the beautiful Auralex wooden boxes sound best near the ear, such as on opposing walls by the seating positions, while the PR (primitive root) products sound much better distant from the ear....
