Hello everyone,
What make NOS tubes are more preferable and also more expensive than the newer production ones. Do they last longer and sound better as many people say ? If yes, why ? I also heard some people said that the NOS tubes are noisier than the newer ones, is that right ?
I have my very first tube preamp and thinking of replacing tubes with NOS tubes but not sure if it's worth all the trouble as the current tubes in the preamp are quite new.
