I had a ARC D-250 MkII Servo. I used to call it Big Bertha. 250 watts per channel. One day a loud smokey explosion interrupted my listening experience. Apparently a tube failure taking out a resistor and perhaps some other stuff. Had to ship it to Minnesota for repair. Heavy, expensive to ship. Sold it within 6 months of getting it back from repair.
