The MV-75A, which I once owned briefly, was a wonderful amp: stereotypical "tube sound" and a great match with my Magnepan MGIIB's. But that was a long time ago, and amplifier design has made a lot of progress toward a more neutral sound. Today's c-j amps are far superior to the old stuff, in my estimation.
