The reason I was asking was that I am unaware of any difference in the pin diameter of the octal or four pin Russian tubes vs. old stock. I can tell you some have pretty large solder balls on the end of the pins which may make them seem larger.The 7868 EH has larger diameter pins than a 7868 old stock tube. I can't speak to other novar Russian tubes though.
The 9 pin miniature Russian tubes do have a smaller pin diameter than old stock US or Euro tubes.
If there are other size differences I'd like to learn about them!
