Absolutely it does. It seems you have a very high plate voltage and it reminds me of an amp for comercial duty like the schmulerich carillon and it had like a 600ohm output impeadance..Corerosin knows the amp I mean.. The high plate voltage and half the screen voltage is the way the amps are set up for that type of service..You may want to consider a reengineering that circuit a bit to more conventional status.
