Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Hi,I have an RM-200 power amp and have been using SED KT88s for some time now. I'm happy with the sound but would like to try some variants (JAN GE 6550s, Shuguang KT88SCs). However - I think the RM-200 outputs about 100 Watts - so does it require tubes with a higher wattage plate dissipation? I assume it is pushing each tube to about 50 Watts - is this correct? Anyone know this amp?
Cheers,
Colin.
