You will COOK your output tubes this way, unless it has been modified with separate cathode resistors! All four tubes share a common cathode bias resistor - with two tubes pulled, the remaining two will draw much more current.I think paralleling two amps would be more successful if only the power amp sections are connected in parallel - gain will be more closely matched. Dynaco even suggests this for the Stereo 70... which of course begs the question... why not get a Stereo 70?
