I did not look closer than the pix on the site until now.I built a simular amp before, but the cathode bypass capacitor on the 76 did not sound near as good when removed. Second, the 6A6 & another design using a 6N7 did not sound near as good as a Sylvania 6SN7GT with the opposing 'T' plate design. Use a Solen or motor run cap at the 2A3 cathode bypass over an electrolytic. The 82uF @ 250 volt Solen is high enough capacitance value.
I ground the PS DC bus to chassis at input jack. 6.3 AC filament CT (if used) goes to chassis (not DC bus) & the AC line gound goes to a bolt on the transformer at chassis.
