That's fine Jeff, and I would build my version on a bigger chassis with a better layout (psu to one side with power tx and choke at the extremity).BUT not everbody is a 'hair shirt' extremophile like you and me. To the person that built it aesthetics were obviously very important (perhaps they had to sell it) and consequently he or she compromised accordingly.
Most people would be horrified giving some of my least compromised 'creations' floorspace, let alone buying them.
