I highly recommend the Keystone parts. (even though they will slightly increase the effective DCR :) )

They're great for preventing turn-on surges in the first second or two, when, for example, heaters are stone cold and caps have no charge on them. But if you're using SS rectifiers for HV and are worried about cathode stripping from the HV coming up before the tubes are heated, the thermistors act too fast to help. You will need to consider another strategy for delaying the HV: a tube rectifier, timers and relays or by one of the suggestions given here already. There's no reason not to use both approaches together (I do).
