I must concur that Good tape crushes an IPOD. Other than all the compression problems with the MP3 formats the output opamps on the ipod are apparently made from cardboard and spit because man they sound bad. But don't believe me, or earlier poster Rick, hook your IPOD up to your home stereo system - you'll want to kill yourself. Then hook up a high-quality walkman with a nicely recorded tape and lo and behold its not a Nak, but it can be quite nice to listen to.
