Real easy to find magnetic coupled problems..Make a loop of wire, use it to probe the area for stray field coupled signals..
You will find a huge hell of a lot of it in the supply cap vicinity, as well as the primary and secondary of the supply.
Given the physical size of supply caps, most designers are unaware of the methods needed to eliminate the loop fields. Star design won't solve that. Nor the loop coupling that can puts the hf audio stuff back into the line. Leaving only hit and miss, trial and error.
If, in the design of a star ground system, supply and output signals go through the wires to the star, they will couple magnetically to the input ground, even if the star is a rock solid reference.
