Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg, but at least you can see that and believe in it. Now if we could just get you to believe in the rest of the iceberg!
Any cable design involves a suite of conflicting parameters.
Make the inductance lower, the capacitance goes up, make the capacitance lower, and the inductance goes up.
Make the (speaker) wire larger to lower ressitance, and the inductance tends to go up.
So you see, there are trade-off's, and no one "perfect wire".
[ Not withstanding DA or M/G comment , I still don't believe skin effect have any pronounce effect in audio frequency. ]
I was not refering to any amplitude losses. Please re-read my post.
