A Question for All...

If I'm wrong PLEASE correct me, ok? But the way it seems to me is when audio first started there were no specific audio speaker wires for home audio. Thus it seems that someone must have grabbed some wires that were intended to be used to power lamps and ipso facto we had the first set of home speaker wires. If that isn't how it occurred I have no problem hearing another better explanation. But no matter how it started we now have the:

a) Wires don't make a difference camp of audio.
b) Wires do make a difference camp of audio.

That having been said my question to both camps is this...

1) What is the scientifically proven perfect amount of resistance, inductance, and capacitance required to make the closest thing to a perfect speaker wire, and what scientific test supports these values you claim are best?

And seeing that some insulation must be used on these perfect speaker wires...

2) What's the best type of insulation to use that won't hinder the expansion and collapsing of the magnetic field that forms around the wire as the current goes back and forth in the wire while the music plays and what scientific tests support your claim this is the best speaker wire insulation?

I believe this is a good place to start this discussion Let's see where it goes from here.
