intelligent chip

Well, let me first state that the Intelligent Chip is not a miracle
solution
for bad equipment or badly recorded CD, CD-R or DVD; it's only as good
as
the elements of your system (including cables, power conditioning,
etc.). In
other words, the better your system, the more of an improvement you
will
probably notice. I've spent a considerable amount of time researching
power
conditioning - active and passive - and now have both types in my
system,
along with a myriad other tweaks. Please keep in mind that my system
already
displayed an incredible picture on my 84" Da-lite projection screen,
along
with stunning sound. I've had the opportunity to listen to various
audiophile systems with fewer tweaks and I've been able to build quite
an
impressive system, with oustanding sound and picture. That's where
Intelligent Chip comes in.

I have to admit I took a long shot buying this little gizmo, but it was
worth it! I've used the chip on 5 discs so far (Lord of the Rings,
Fifth
Element, Matrix I , Matrix II, Matrix III). That group of DVDs proves
once
again that the better source, the better the results (all discs treated
with
Auric Illuminator by Audience).

MATRIX is a relatively mediocre DVD transfer; still, the chip brought
more
depth to the picture, with more solid colors. Perhaps the most
unexpected
changes occurred in the audio department. Especially in the chapter
when the
Matrix is explained, there is the very strong sensation that you're
actually
with them inside the room. The storm outside is very realistic and
enveloping -- nothing like before the chip!

Matrix II and MATRIX III bring out the best in the Intelligent Chip. A
Super-clean picture (I was able to see elements previously obstructed
by
noise. One of my favorite movies, The Fifth Element, displayed an
amazing
amount of detail in both picture and sound. Especially when LELELOO
stands
on the ledge of the building and you can see future New York City. The
amount of detail in the background is simply stunning and there is a
very
strong sense of three-dimensionality. This description also applies to
the
fantastic transfer of Lord of the Rings (Fellowship of the Ring), which
now,
after the chip, has tremendous depth and definition. I'm sure you will
appreciate what Intelligent Chip has to offer - for both sound and
video.
