Not with the built in converters which really suck!

The 3500 was the first cheap machine that sounded ok. The 3700 rode in on its coat tails. 3700s are notorious for coming from the factory out of alignment and for a really bad AES implementation that generates huge amounts of jitter.. Most of the people I know who had 3700s now have Sonys.
