Hell again guys,

Thanks for your input so far. I'm running a 4'Biwired pair (2 completely separate runs of the speaker cable)of the big purple and grey stuff. 4' seemed to be about the minimum with the Merlin VSMs as the binding posts are about 3' off the ground. I'm currently running about 4 meters of balance XLO Signature between pre and poweramps and when I add my soon-to-arrive balanced battery Bam, will probably add another couple of meters to get all my front end gear further down the sidewall and out of the reflection points (Don't need a remote if its right beside the couch!) The concensus seems to be that along with my speaker cable(Ralph, why doesn't this make a good match for your otl.s?), My linestage is a week point. Hmmm. I always thought it was pretty good. It images like mad. If I dumped my LS2B and PH3 for say an MP3 with the phono section, what improvements would it provide? Can my arm, an SME 5, be wired for balanced operation?
