ARC & XLO compatibilty?

Hi guys- I've been following your bbs for a few weeks. I've got a coupla' compatibility questions that I'd like your oppinions on(particularly Ralph K's). I curently own an ARC LS2B linestage and a pair of Classic 150's driven by an Oracle/SME/Benz Ref/ARC PH3 or an EAD Transport/Sonic Frontiers SFD2 III and just replaced an earlier pair of VSMs with the VSM Milleniums. Everything is lashed together with XLO signature wire. I'm really interested in a pair of M60s. I'm hearing all the right thing about them. The Questions: I'm a bit concerned about things being a bit to relentless. The system is currently right on the fine edge of really detailed vs. edgy. I'm looking for more musical involvement- no not warm and fuzzy but definitely not clinical either. The ARC gear can be a bit shouty and hard on big peaks in dynamic music. I'd like to eliminate/minimize this. Will I be able to just drop the M60s in and get good results? Your Comments... Thanks guys!
