I have an 8260, and it forever amazes me. I also have a Jolida setting right next to it, and a couple Sony sacd players. The Marantz is a light year ahead of the others. Playing redbook cd's, the Marantz is at least as good if not a little better than the Jolida or the Cal Delta / MSB unit upstairs. It's a little slow in operation, but just reeks with quality.
