Teresa, thanks for your comment. My system is simple: NAD T-751 AV receiver, Marantz DV8300 universal player, Monitor Audio silver speakers.

I'm basically into rock music, mostly classic rock. I bought a universal player to cover my bases, since both hi-rez formats were in their infancy at the times.

Here is the score: I own 6 DVD-As; and 14 SACDs. Also note that most of the DVD-As do not have a hi-rez stereo layer; it's usually 48/16, or a down mix from the surround mix.

Yes, I enjoy music in both formats, but DVD-A was never well supported. Again, I will believe Warner when they start releasing more rock DVD-As that have a hi-rez stereo track.

Please don't mention my name in a sentence with Kekl. I avoid him like the plague.
