Please recognize that most of the recordings that found their way onto DVD-Audio from WB or others were transfers of older analog or standard definition digital. To really experience the fidelity of HD Audio in full 5.1 surround, you owe it to yourself to check out recording such as those produced by companies like my little AIX Records label or Chesky.

I posted on AVS that I would be willing to give our new sampler [29 tracks - 3 different mixes each] away for free with any single order on our website...just mention DVD Audiobahn in the comments and I'll see that you receive it.

Also on the news front, I will launching iTrax.com in about a month or so. The first place that you will be able to download HD AUdio in 5.1 surround with or without HD Video. Bascially, the choice will be yours...any mix, any encoding type [no DSD] with or without video. I've been working on this a long time and we're close.
