But nowadays with Universal players this bickering does not make any sense.I believe most people into high rez can now play both DVD-Audio and SACD either through Universal players or separate SACD and DVD-Audio players.
I think the Beatles Love on DVD-Audio (which I have and enjoy a lot) will introduce a lot of new people to DVD-Audio just as the Moody Blues and Genesis SACDs will introduce a lot of new people to SACD.
At this point there is no reason to keep score but to enjoy the DVD-Audios and SACDs we own.
All the major super groups have high-resolution recordings.
The Beatles Love DVD-Audio (Let's hope for the rest of the Beatles catalog)
The Doors DVD-Audio box set
Rolling Stones SACDs (Get them quick as they are being replace by DSD mastered CDs)
The Who: Tommy on SACD and DVD-Audio plus the Live Who on SACD.The other major super group "Cream" is only represented by the 2 SACDs and 2 DVD-Audios of Eric Clapton
Plus many other popular groups with entire catalogs in either SACD or DVD-Audio.
So what is all the bickering about, guys?
"Music is love"
