Hi, I recently bought an Arcam DV29 DVD-A player and since I had tried SACD in the past (via Marantz SA-14), I thought I would try some DVD-A discs. I picked up Steely Dan "Gaucho" and "Everthing Must Go", Seal "Best of", Sting "Sacred Love" and today picked up Diana Krall "When I look In Your Eyes".I must say that I am impressed. I listen mostly to Jazz, Rock and Blues, so part of the reason I sort of gave up on SACD was the lack of software. I know DVD-A suffers from the same issue.
Is the Doobie Brothers "The Captain and Me" DVD-A worth seeking out? I always liked the song "South City Midnight Lady" Is it no longer being produced?
Any other suggestions for DVD-A discs to get?
