I cannot say with a good D/A which would be better, but the problem is while there are a lot of D/A converters for both SACD and DVD-A, I've only recently discovered that just about all of them fail to truly extract the information off the disc. For when I finally encountered such performance (using a Xvid codec plugged into Winamp, via FFDSHOW), it was a totally different ballgame.....Before you buy any player, you should set up Winamp with the above-stated components. You will realize that dedicated high-rez players across the board, as of now, are a total waste of money. The chip D/A processors in these players are simply not doing the job properly.
