And you have to be careful about which equipment you play them on when you compare. IMO Alex likes PCM over DSD and indeed in my experience PCM sounds better on his modded equipment than DSD. Conversely I'm a EMM Labs fan and tho PCM sounds great, DSD wins there. I'm getting my Denon 3930 modded by ModWright this week and then I'll see how it does PCM vs. DSD. But I already know that it won't approach my EMM Labs gear for DSD...
