First pcb back during covid and never got tfinish it, I bould a completely built unit from Zerozone. I then upgraded it after hearing it for awhile and not liking the minor issues with the sound. I did buy the 3rd and last PCB for the final "All Out Build" and source every single part on it. I sourced the best quality parts there were. I did change the RIAA components to Metal Film resistors and Silver Mica caps. All resistors are Wirewound that are using in the power supply and PCB.The original kit I bought came with nasty caps and really bad resistors, the resistor leads were hollow, so when you tried to form the leads they would flatten out when the plyer were holding them. never ever seen that type of leads on a resistor. So that when I got the last PCB I sourced everything/parts from Mouser and Digikey.
After seeing that TE fiasco, I will really think about how to layout my PCB and where to cut/mount the switch and knobs on the front panel.
Thank You for the kind words on the build. :)
