Abe, I'm having a blast with these clones and making them way better than they were and the best fit for my system.Last week I lost my job and now have the time to work on the projects that I had started and never was ever to finish. I have started the Chassis enclosure for this Clone build and should be totally done soon.
After this I'm onto my 2 way horn DIY build. I have pre-fitted the cabs to make all is ok, now I need to glue them together and strengthen them with the internal braces. I will add the mounting hardware and then sand the bare cabs down to prepare for veneering. Then the Final crossover build in their separate wooden enclosures.
Then I will attempt to start on my JBL 4345 clones as my final project. I have all the drivers, lenses, Labels and crossover parts. I just need to start the measuring and cutting of these cabs which will be a challenge for me. I have a buddy that has volunteered to come down from Seattle and help with the cabs. That should be it since the 2245H 18" woofers, 2123 Mid woofers, 2420 horns, and 2405's Super Tweeter have all been restored.
Then I should be done with all my projects. :)
