Thanks for the details on your Clone builds. You may have mentioned them before but your last post cleared it up. Given the various iterations involved you are probably the 834P expert on the Asylum! My only 834P experience was the used one that I bought and played with many years ago.The video linked below -should- play in your browser but I'm not sure. The video is very old.

P.S. The video also shows the Graham Slee Era Gold V and the Graham Slee Elevator (additional amplification for MC). I thought the Era Gold V was excellent but the Elevator was not to my liking so I removed it and put a CineMag SUT in front of the Era Gold V MM phono preamp. As with my 834P the outboard CineMag on the Era Gold V was the better sounding setup to my ears. The CineMag seemed to bring out more lively dynamics.
