Check your local paper or classified ad rag (Tradin' Post and Tellit-and-Sellit in my area) for estate auctions. I just picked up 2 MINT 1950's systems, both for $10. Each system has an RCA 6V6 PP amp with TungSol tubes.A couple of weeks ago I missed calling on an ad by a few hours for 3 tube testers and boxes of radio tubes(not TV - I spoke with the seller for a long while.) They were puchased by the owner of Mendelsons in Dayton.
Also, let ALL your friends/neighbors/relatives know you are interested in tubes. Word will get around and you'll score.
