fishing lures, old toys, pottery, artwork, military items..... anyhting that is a great find to one is thrown in the dumpster by another. I found a case (8 pair) of old shoes, all identical from the 1940's in a garbage pile.....turns out that they were womans military shoes and I sold them for $500 per pair. Thats right $500x8...who would have thunk it?? They guys who bought them were sick to know that they were salvaged from the garbage heap, they couldn't believe that someone would throw them away.... I think I remember them posting something about please please tell the young folk to look on ebay :) ..... the old moniker whats one mans junk is another mans treasure will always be, thats what makes the hunt so much fun.;
