"...don't use 5751s in this circuit they don't work."Why do you say the 5751's won't work? I've used the RCA and GE 3-mica's beforw settling on my current Raytheon 5751's. All worked fine. Haven't found a 12AX7 that I've liked, except for the RCA long blackplates. Besides, the Jolida has a lot of gain in my system and the 5751's allow me to turn the volume control up a bit without any undue noise.
You may want to do a search for "Jolida" on A'gon in the discussion forum. There are many users of 5751's.That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! :)
