I also use my power book as a source (playing WAVs directly from the harddrive). It can blow doors off of many CD players if set up right. The DAC can have allot to do with it (unfortunately I have yet to invest in anything good). Plus there is a huge collection of live music out there that is not available in any other format. The real downside is storage space.Rodney
