that it was my personal experience sitting listening to some Svet el34 tubes that after about 20 to 30 hours in they suddenly bloomed. And I don't mean the change was minor, they just opened up and sounded magnificent. I realized that they had been burned in for 72 hours by Kevin at Upscale meaning that at right about 100 hours the sound mellowed out and opened up. That is simply what I heard (as well as my wife) and up to that point I had been thinking I had bought the wrong tubes.
