As we discussed earlier

MacOS allocates memory based upon how much you have. Clearly, you don't have a full 8 GB Parallels environment in memory as I do.



I use the Mac for OS only. All our user data lives on the NAS. Of the 95 GB used, 40 is for Parallels and 11 for photos.
