It kind of depends on your use case and what you want.I like the rechargeable flexible lightbar style for use around the house on projects and whatnot. But for emergency use I prefer the more standard style. I have a few of both styles.
The flexible lightbar style are more comfortable with bright even illumination. The lightbar is more comfortable because there's no plastic light module against your forehead and no uneven weight from it hanging down from the elastic band. And the lightbar illumination is more even for obvious reasons.
The ones linked below from Amazon are comfortable (for me) to wear with great illumination choices and they're rechargeable. But they can also be a little 'wonky' or 'fiddly' with all the different modes.

For emergency use I prefer the basic cheapies like my Energizer brand. Operation is brain dead simple and I prefer that these NOT be rechargeable. I use AAA Lithium batteries in mine since their 'shelf life' even in temperature extremes is several years so they're ready to go even if you haven't used them in a very long time. My orange headlamp below has batteries in it from 2015 and it still lights up! I keep a couple of the orange ones in my car. There are some differences between my blue and orange set. The orange set has a hinge on the bottom of the light module so you can tilt it downward without tilting your head down. This comes in handy sometimes.

Search "Energizer Headlamp" on AmazonThere are other 'high-end' headlamp brands that look similar to the cheapie Energizers above but I consider those to be status brands used by prosumer athletes running in the rain, climbing mountains, or Navy Seal landing on a beach ;-) Some of those prosumer lights can cost as much as $200. And remember, whether it's rechargeable or uses disposable batteries, there's always a trade-off between brightness and battery life.
